Hours of Operation

8:30 am - 12:00pm & 12:30pm - 4:00pm Monday - Friday Florence County Courthouse will be closed the following holidays: New Years Day, Presidents' Day, Friday before Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve If any of the above mentioned holidays falls on Saturday, it shall be observed the preceding Friday and if a holiday falls on Sunday, it shall be observed on the following Monday. To report a public health emergency or communicable disease after hours, contact dispatch at 715-528-3346. FCHD vaccinated 71 individuals on 1-21-2021 and 48 individuals the previous week with the Pfizer COVID vaccine.  The second dose is scheduled three weeks from the first dose. Pfizer is approximately 95% effective after the second dose.  Individuals receiving the first dose must be able to confirm the ability to return to receive the second dose. If you are over 65 years of age, a Florence County resident and interested in getting scheduled for an upcoming clinic, please call Rachael at 414-253-2898.  You may also call your healthcare provider to receive the vaccine or check availability.

Fitness & Wellness Programs Wellbeing classes and social motivation so you reach your health goals. For all ages and fitness levels. Strong Bodies Class, Yoga classes, and other health and fitness classes will be offered! For more information, see the Fitness & Wellness Programs page.
Reproductive Health Come visit our Health Family Planning Clinic Fridays from 12:00pm-4:00pm. Get more about Intimate Partner Violence, Trauma, Suicide Prevention, and Family Planning. For more information see the Immunizations Page.
Immunizations Immunizations for children are free if the child is a Medicaid participant, does not have insurance or if the family’s private insurance doesn’t cover vaccines. Vaccines for adults are also available. For more information go to the Immunizations Page.
Inspections and Licensing The Food Safety & Recreational Licensing staff are responsible for managing and enforcing applicable state codes for the inspection and licensure of restaurants, hotels, pools, campgrounds, and more. For more information, see the Inspections and Licensing page.
